Grace Bible Church Summer 2008


	Go Fish Concert: Saturday, June 14th 7:00pm. Our summer kick-off family event is the California stop of Go Fish’s Snazzy Tour. Snazzy is their Dove-nominated children’s album, and we are thrilled that they are coming to Grace Bible Church. Invite your friends and family! Tickets are $10 adults, $5 kids 2-12, under 2 free! Wacky Wednesdays for moms (and/or dads) and kids: We meet Wednesdays from 10am-12 noon at various locations around town for fun, food and fellowship. Bring a neighbor or a friend! June 18th - Bike Day & potluck at Grace Bible Church June 25th - Strother Park July 2nd - Bob Jones Bike Trail July 9th - NO Wacky Wednesday, Vacation Bible School at Grace Bible Church July 16th - Chumash Park July 23rd - Elm St. Park July 30th - Bike day and potluck at Grace Bible Church August 6th - Rancho Grande Park August 13th - Avila Beach August 20th - Bike day and potluck at Grace Bible Church Music Camp: June 23-27, 9:30-12:00pm. This is for boys and girls entering second grade through those who are entering sixth grade. Cost is $50 per camper.
	Vacation Bible School: July 7-11th, 9:00am-12:30pm. This is the highlight of the summer, with our new “Power Lab” where we will learn that Jesus gives us the power to be thankful, to help others, to be brave, to live forever, and to tell others about God! Bible Point crafts, team-building games, lively Bible songs, and tasty treats are just a few of the Power Lab activities that help faith flow into real life. Children ages 4 through those who just finished 5th grade are welcome at Power Lab, and teenagers are welcome to sign on as Crew Leaders to help younger children. This week is free! Basketball Camp: July 21-25th, 9:30am-12:00pm. Boys and girls who are entering second grade through those entering sixth grade will enjoy a week of fun as they practice basketball skills and teamwork. The cost for this week is $50.
	Glad 2B Girls Camp and Boys Boot Camp, August 4-8th, 9:30am-12:00pm. Spend the week with us as we look at “Why we believe in Jesus” in a fun and interactive way. We will be building a bridge, worshiping God, playing games, doing crafts and growing in our knowledge of Jesus, as well as an overview of the world’s most popular religions. This week is for kids who are entering 2nd grade through those who are entering 6th grade. The cost for this week is $50. Download the registration forms for the events above here!
